Background Information |
The Academic Information Resource Center is located between Library North and Benicia Hall. The building will be home to University Computing and Communications Services (UCCS) and the University Telecommunications Services (UTS). This is a natural migration pathway considering the "like and kind" services and operations common among the voice, data and video technologies. The building also includes academic support space, self instructional computer lab and discipline specific computer labs. The Academic Information Center is envisioned as a state-of-the-art information technology environment. Its purpose is to address the academic needs of on-campus and off-campus students into the 21st century by providing an ideal setting for learning transformation.
