Background Information |
Capital Public Radio, Inc. is the public broadcasting service of California State University, Sacramento. It is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation operating as a university auxiliary. Capital Public Radio, Inc. is a cultural resource which exists to enlighten and enrich the quality of life for the people within its listening area. The radio station strives to serve the listening public with interests in classical music, jazz and public affairs programming and to encourage an interest in and appreciation of fine arts and issue-oriented news for the people of our community. The building provides office space for KXPR and KXJZ Sacramento, KXSR Groveland, KKTO Tahoe City and the recently added KUOP Stockton. The new location on campus will provides additional space necessary to operate efficiently and allows easy access to students interested in participating in internship programs.
