Background Information |
Modoc Hall provides office, administrative support, laboratory, multipurpose, and conference room space. The facility is located on the southeast side of the campus, in between Napa Hall and Capital Public Radio. Building occupants of Modoc Hall include the United States Geological Survey (USGS), Sacramento State Foundation Office of Water Treatment Programs, Sacramento State Foundation contracts office, Research and Graduate Studies, and Cal Trans Waste Water Treatment Program. The USGS Water Quality Division has been located at Sacramento State since 1996 and in addition to working with faculty in joint projects, has provided internship and employment opportunities for students. The Water Quality Program at Sacramento State is renowned for training technicians and engineers and offers certificate programs through Regional and Continuing Education. Cal Trans Office of Water Program will provide an opportunity for advanced external degree programs in engineering through Regional and Continuing Education.
