Facilities Services employs a professional staff to manage and provide for its customers quality services in the areas of Automotive, Custodial and Grounds and Landscape services.
- Provides a full range of mechanical repairs and maintenance for gasoline, diesel and electric power vehicles
- Performs preventive maintenance on State-owned vehicles
- Works with outside vendors and arranges for repairs and services that are specialized in nature or outside their scope of service
- Maintains State-owned vehicles and equipment including landscape and grounds equipment
- Electric carts and electric trucks
- Provides a full range of commercial custodial cleaning
- Provides on-going carpet and cleaning care
- Provides specialized refinishing of VCT and ceramic tile, terrazzo, concrete and hardwood flooring
- Provides emergency clean up services
- Assists in building security
- Disposes of refuse and collects recycled paper on a scheduled basis
Grounds and Landscape Services:
- Provides a full range of landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Provides irrigation repair, maintenance and installation
- Utilizes integrated pest control methods to manage weeds and insects
- Prepares fields for athletic competition, special events, commencement and/or special programs
- Provides sweeping and litter pickup on all parking lots and structures
- Provides tree and shrub pruning
- Picks up litter and removes trash from exterior trash receptacles
- Provides scheduled mowing activities
- Provides additional cleaning of an areas prior to, during and/or after an event
- Provides, delivers and picks up trash cans as requested for special events
- Provides daily hardscape cleaning
