3 Capistrano Hall, Room 143 Remodel: Room 143 is the primary rehearsal hall for large instrumental ensembles and a much used classroom space.  The proposed project would renovate the room installing new acoustics, floor tile, instrument storage cabinets along with painting and replacing a 40 year old acoustic curtain. 4 Capistrano, Room 135 Remodel: The music listening lab is poorly designed and does not meet the technological changes which have occurred.  The space provides considerable student services with material check out, rooms for listening to music and computer working areas.  Space planning will be required to meet the current needs and to best use the space available.  Renovation to include separate space for a repair shop, office, computer stations, student service counter and music storage area.  All of the services offered now will remain, but in a more efficient and updated space to accommodate technical changes in the music industry.
