Green waste

This program was greatly expanded in Dec 2006.
The University Groundskeepers recycle all of the leaves, twigs, branches, logs and prunings that come from the campus.

• All wood products including painted, stained, form boards, pallets, particleboard, laminated particle board, sawdust, and small amounts of plasticized wood are recycled into compost or biofuel.
• Lawn clippings are "grass cycled" that is, mowed back into the lawn to fertilize it.

• Pallets that cannot be reused are recycled as green waste . Please submit a service request online for pickup. To obtain instructions for drop-off, call x85801.
