Industrial Plastic "Film" - plastic sheeting, plastic bags

Recycle:  Large amounts of plastic sheeting can be recycled, call x85801.  

This program is currently under research for expansion.

 

Industrial Plastics, hard - large amounts

Recycle: Very large amounts of certain plastics can be recycled. Please call x85801 and be prepared to submit a sample of the hard plastic item. Plastic bottles may be recycled as Bottles and Cans.

!! New !!Styrofoam Packing Peanuts

Reuse:

  • The Box Center Postal and Shipping store on the first floor of the Student Union will accept styrofoam packing peanuts if they are very clean and don't have any other materials mixed in. Call x84501 for more information.
  • Molded and other styrofoam are trash at this time. Please deposit it in a trash receptacle. Styrofoam should never be placed in a cardboard recycling bin or recycling compactor.
