In 2006 Sac State achieved a 61.6% recycling & reuse rate, with nearly 3,700 tons of material diverted from the landfill.  The State of California’s goal for institutions such as ours is only 50%.  Looking good Sac State!

The Integrated Waste Manager has set a goal of Zero Waste for the Campus.
