Paper
All clean, dry paper including: catalogs, phonebooks, softcover books and directories, windowed and clasp envelopes, giftwrap, carbonless forms, newspaper, post-its, glossy magazines, lightweight cardboard, wrappers from reams of paper, and color, white, shredded, and computer paper.
Reduce/Reuse:
- Use both sides of the paper, store scratch paper in a tray to put through the printer a second time for drafts.
- Create an electronic-only version. For example, The Bulletin went to an email-only version in 2005.
- Donate softcover books to the Book Bin at the Library; call x85643 for more information.
Recycle:
- On Campus: Put paper items listed above in any blue desk-side or copier-side recycle container. Please remove plastic combs and take paper out of binders.
- Shredded Paper: Bags of shredded paper can go directly into any blue paper recycling bin, please keep it in the plastic bag.
- Residential Life: Place paper in the "Paper and Cardboard" tan bins behind each residence hall.

- Office cleanouts/purges: 90 gallon toters are available for loan. Please submit a service request online.
- If your department has a pallet's worth (more than 20 boxes) of paper to recycle please call x85801 for a special pick up.
