Recycling Center
Located at the south end of campus and operated by the Sacramento Local Conservation Corps (SLCC), the Sacramento State Recycling Drop-off Center has been in continuous operation since 1999 and is open to the public.
Don't have access to recycling where you live? Cleaning out a storage room, closet or attic and have more recyclables than the City or County will pick up? If so, the Sacramento State Recycling Center might be the right alternative for you.
Materials Accepted:
Bottles, Cans, and Jars: glass in all colors, plastics with recycle symbol on the bottom, aluminum and steel (tin) cans.
Cardboard
Mixed Paper
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday through Saturday: 9am-5pm
Sunday and Monday: Closed to the public
Getting There:
From Folsom Boulevard:
Enter the University turning onto State University Drive East. The recycling center is around the corner, on the right.
From On-Campus:
Continue on State University Drive East headed south toward Folsom Boulevard. Pass Napa and Modoc Halls and the recycling center will be directly in front of you, before the road curves to the right.
